  • Manage operations for fine arts programs involving up to 250 students.

  • Execute business strategies and processes to support the success and growth of the Fine Arts Department.

  • Manage and control the budgeting and costs and scheduling of projects and events.

  • Lead professional development and trainings involving topics such as diversity, equity, inclusion and access within the workplace, repertoire selection, and Social Emotional Learning.

  • Manage contracts for vendors and suppliers that support our program activities.

  • Develop strategies for the recruitment and retention of organization membership.

  • Plan and implement change management processes for district-wide software and technology adoption.

  • Prepare students for special programs such as UIL competition, All-Region Competition, and Solo and Ensemble.

MS Vocal Coordinator

May 2020 - Current | Houston, TX

  • Elected for two consecutive terms to serve as the Coordinator overseeing several projects including contests, clinics, and concerts involving 60 members of cross-functional teams, and over 1,000 students.

  • Monitor and control the region’s budgets and costs.

  • Create agendas, and lead collaborative meetings to plan, and execute process improvements as it relates to projects and programs.

  • Prepare biannual reports for the state on the region’s financial activities.

  • Manage contracts for hired consultants, clinicians, instrumentalists, and vendors.
